2021 - Medal of Good Citizenship
Zeeshan became a recipient of the most prestigious award in British Columbia. Launched in 2015, the Medal of Good Citizenship recognizes individuals who, through exceptional dedication and service, have made outstanding contributions to their communities without expectation of remuneration or reward. The medal reflects their generosity, service, acts of selflessness and contributions to community life. It was such a difficult decision for the committee to select just 14 individuals from the long list of incredible nominees,” said Melanie Mark, Minister of Tourism, Arts, Culture and Sport, and chair of the medal’s selection committee.
2019 - BC Export Award Winner
The BC Export Awards are the province’s most prestigious awards paying tribute to the success and innovative approaches of BC export companies. Extending across industries the awards recognize achievements in 9 different categories and are a celebration of the contributions exporters have made to both the provincial and national economy. Conceived in 1982, the program has recognized over 300 companies since its inception, reflecting the growth and diversity of BC’s economy over the past 30 years.
2019 - Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year (finalist)
In June 2019, Zeeshan was honored as an Entrepreneur of the Year Pacific Finalist by Ernst and Young, a testament to his remarkable contributions to entrepreneurship. The Entrepreneur of The Year® program celebrates the efforts of extraordinary individuals who drive progress by creating the products and services essential for local and global economic advancement. For over 31 years, the EY Entrepreneur of The Year Awards have acknowledged the outstanding achievements of Canada’s foremost entrepreneurs. Please find the attached copy of the award.
Zeeshan received this accolade on two additional occasions, in June 2018 and June 2016.
2019 - Business leader and philanthropist Zeeshan Hayat named 2019 distinguished alumnus
In 2019, Zeeshan received the Douglas College Distinguished Alumni Award. This award recognizes the quality of our graduates and their contributions to the community. It also represents the caliber of the students that go to Douglas College, and the education, training and inspiration they received here. This award is presented at graduation each year.
2018 - Zeeshan Hayat Wins BC CEO Award
The winners were nominated for their corporate leadership of British Columbia companies and institutions.Business in Vancouver, Deloitte and TEC Canada are proud to announce this year’s honourees for the BC CEO Awards. Winning CEOs will be profiled in Business in Vancouver and honoured at a gala dinner where winners will share their leadership lessons to an audience of Vancouver’s business community.
A judging committee chose the honourees by looking at their vision and strategy, financial performance, people development, innovation, social responsibility and sustainability.
2018 - Entrepreneur Of The Year : Social Impact
BCBusiness marks a milestone: the 25th anniversary of our partnership with Ernst & Young (EY). Zeeshan Hayat & Karina Hayat were named as finalists in the latest EY Entrepreneur Of The Year program for the Pacific Region upholding a long tradition of excellence in the business world.

The EY Entrepreneur of the Year program honours the very best in our business world—the risk-takers and game-changers whose visionary leadership and exemplary performance put them a step above the rest. Zeeshan Hayat Made the cut as one of the Finalists for Pacific Canada.
Deloitte 2015 Fast 500 Award
In October of 2015, Zeeshan’s company was bestowed with the Deloitte 2015 Fast 500 Award. The Technology Fast 500, orchestrated by Deloitte & Touche LLP, ranks the most rapidly expanding companies in technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, and energy tech sectors across North America. Winners of the Technology Fast 500 award are chosen based on the percentage of fiscal year revenue growth spanning from 2011 to 2014.
2014 Business in Vancouver Forty Under 40 Award
In 2014, Zeeshan was honored with the Business in Vancouver Forty Under 40 Award. Annually, Business in Vancouver recognizes the achievements of British Columbia’s young entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals by identifying 40 outstanding individuals under the age of 40. Business in Vancouver notes that these individuals exemplify excellence in “business, judgment, leadership, and community contributions,” attributes that are fully indicative of Zeeshan’s approach to leadership.
